Yoga is a Sanskrit term translating to “to yoke” or connecting mind and body, body and spirit.

Starting or restarting your yoga practice? This class is a great place to start! This slow flow class focuses on the basic setup and alignment of beginner friendly yoga poses to help you build the foundation for your yoga practice. Poses are held for a comfortable amount of time to help you build flexibility, strength and confidence.
Chair yoga is a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair. Chair yoga is perfect for seniors, those who have knees or hips aliments or replacements, for those when getting down on the floor is not safe or accessible, when at work or those who would rather simply practice in a chair.
Balanced Flow is designed to bring balance to the body and the mind. This hatha style class allows time to hold & explore what each pose has to offer before moving/flowing to the next pose. When we slow down we relax the nervous system, focus on our breath & become stronger mentally and physically. This class offers: stretches, strength, Sun Salutations, standing & balance postures, relaxation, breathing techniques & meditation.

Restorative yoga is a restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching. You will support your body with various props, allowing it to fully relax into the poses. The intention of the class is to release mind-body tension, bringing the nervous system into a state of healing.

The health of the spine is key to the health of your whole body. Stretch, strengthen and soothe your spine in this gentle flow yoga class. This yoga practice offers strength postures that engage the back and core muscles with stretching and relaxation postures that reduce tension in stress carrying muscles groups in the back. This class aids in improving posture, balance and body alignment. This slower practice is a great class for new students.

Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic and fluid style of yoga that emphasizes the synchronized movement linked to an inhalation or exhalation, creating a rhythmic and meditative experience. Sun salutations and creative flow are offered in this practice cultivating strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness. Each movement is linked to an inhalation or exhalation, creating a rhythmic and meditative experience.
Vinyasa is for those who have an established practiced.
Clear your mind, balance your body and get centered in this gentle slow flow yoga class. Offering a deep grounding approach to assist you with recovery from daily life stressors and activities of all kind. Focusing on whole body health that gains flexibility, strength, balance, stress relief & restoring with a combination of breath work, grounding movement, energy awareness and at times meditation. Offering seated, kneeling, standing, supine and prone postures.

A great class for new students wanting to learn the poses.
Yin yoga works with the deep connective tissue (ligaments, joint, bones, deep fascia) Postures are passive with long-hold time (between three and five minutes) are done mostly on the floor. The longer duration within each pose provides the opportunity to slow down and bring awareness to the current capabilities of our bodies. Yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the chi in our organ & body.

Meditation & Mindfulness
A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your mind and body. A practice done either lying down or seated comfortably.
When you sink into a Sound Bath and guide your awareness to your listening, you allow your brain waves to slow, shifting from a more active state to a more relaxed state, or even a dreamlike state. The goal of the experience is to invite deep rest and relaxation, and explore self-inquiry and self-discovery.

Yoga Nidra is a practice that is intended to induce full body relaxation, bringing about an incredible calmness, quietness and clarity to the physical body and mind. Yoga Nidra, also known as “yogic sleep,” is a deep meditation that is performed lying down that uses a variety of techniques—including guided imagery and body scanning—to aid relaxation and offer balance and recovery in the body and mind. Practitioners can expect to leave the practice feeling restored and rejuvenated.
